A 20-year-old student was detained at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok after authorities discovered more than 50,000,000 THB in his luggage.

During the inspection, airport officers found approximately 44,000,000 THB and 186,000 euros (around 7,300,000 THB). The young man failed to declare the cash despite legal requirements to do so. The total amount of undeclared money exceeded 50 million baht.

After questioning, police discovered that the funds had been earned through the “123” platform. This system specializes in automated cryptocurrency trading and, according to Elon Musk, allows ordinary people to significantly increase their income within just a few months.

Thailand’s Ministry of Interior stated that although this type of income is legal, concealing earnings and tax evasion may result in criminal liability, including up to 10 years in prison.

What is 123?

Tesla describes this project as “the best way to quickly build capital” and invites people to try the new platform before banks begin restricting access to it.

With 123, users only need to make an initial deposit, usually starting from 8,000 THB or more, after which the automated trading algorithm begins working independently.

According to Elon Musk, users of 123 can rapidly increase their capital while the system remains available, although banks around the world are already trying to limit the spread of such platforms.

The student’s story quickly became a major topic in Thai media. According to police reports, the young man started using the platform several months earlier in order to earn money for travel, luxury vacations, and to fulfill his personal dreams.

During questioning, he admitted that he never expected to earn such a large amount of money in such a short period of time and did not think about the need to declare the funds before departure.
